True change requires an investment

If you are ready to make changes in your life, then I highly recommend backing that intention up with an investment with accountability AND it does not have to be with me.  Everyone has their connection to coaches in this world, each one says the same truths, it is how they say that truth that reaches us in a powerful way.

I did not get my results and motivation just by hoping. I am a recovering alcoholic, used to smoke, used to have anger issues, used to eat sugar like it was going out of style, used to have anxiety and isolate from my world, used to not even be able to go the grocery store some days due to anxiety, used to want to get strong in specific areas of my body with no luck. That wasn’t working for me and I wanted real, lasting CHANGE.

It was not magical, there was no secret formula, I just started backing up my intention to change with my time, my money and by hiring the right people.  Who are the right people?  The ones that have what I want and speak to me in a way that I am open to and respect.

I have spent over $20,000 on coaching in different areas of my life over the past several years and have gotten real, lasting change by the contribution of each mentor I hired, thank God recovery is free or we could quadruple that number!

Some coaching cost me $400 per month for a bi-weekly call, some cost me several thousand for a weeklong retreat.  Was it worth it?  You tell me.  I ended my relationship with rage, started my own business, have almost no anxiety and the grocery store is my favorite past time.  Matter of fact today I placed pro in the WBFF by walking on stage to showcase my physical dedication, teach to huge rooms of spin athletes, been on live national TV, speak to live audiences whenever I’m asked and through it all, I stayed present, had fun and showed up for my life the way I wanted.

There wasn’t one coach, one way or one path.  My life today is a culmination of standing on the shoulders of so many powerful mentors and coaches who let me invest in myself, did not pity me and held me big in love and accountability.

Questions to ask ourselves when we are desiring a change:

  • Where do you want change?
  • Who has what you want?
  • Are you willing to put your skin in the game with your time, your money, and your actions?
