Bye Bye Muffin Top

Muffin tops! Fun to eat… NOT fun to wear.

No matter what size you are or how lean you are…muffin tops can find you. Really??? Yep, really.

It comes down to the style of pant you choose and what style, size and shape of waist band the designer uses.

I have done the research for you and this is my all time #1 style of legging that I highly recommend. It looks incredible on EVERY body.

  1. My #1 choice for lifting, spinning, powerwalking, etc. Is the Wunder Under High Waisted Full on Luxtreme from lululemon YOGIS could buy the same and switch the fabric to luon instead of luxtreme, which is thicker and more textured and helpful for not sliding off in certain poses.
    • lululemon nailed it with a high waist, above the muffin top line (I call the area in between the hips and smallest part of your waist the muffin top area) as well as creating a compression legging that doesn’t move AND supports me in at all the right places.
    • RR Tip // I personally like to size down in these as I could wear a 4/6 in lululemon shorts and chose a size 2 in these tights for extra hold and for an insta-butt lift. Tips on that coming soon….
#2 a style similar to the lululemon Speed Wunder Tight (which is on sale right now!)
  • #2 choice for running or high intensity movement would be a high rise tight similar to the lululemon Speed Wunder that I can tighten on my own as well.
    • The high rise keeps the elastic band out of the muffin top area.
    • You can cinch the string with can help hold your leggings up while you focus on form.
    • RR tip // I stay true to my size 4 in most lululemon running tights

Want to find your own brand? Just use the following tips to help choose:

  • Where does the band fall in your midsection (keep out of the muffin top area) Some tights can sit nice and low on the hips (think low rise jeans) and that helps to avoid the muffin top look as well.
  • Is it a thick band, no band or small band? Even our fingers get muffin tops if we wrap a tiny elastic band around them
  • Does it hold your waist in comfortably (think spanks but you can breath),
  • Don’t take that tag off yet! If you move in them, try air squats do they slip down easily and most important…do they make your booty look amazing!

The biggest tip I’ll leave you with, above all else, remember this:

At the end of the day, we are beautiful women, already worth it, already valuable with or without muffin tops or sassy tights that flatter our figure.

Keep that shit real ladies and remember who you really are.
